I was featured in the series “Pott On Tour” on the german channel WDR. Since I want to bake small fish, the next step will be Hollywood 🙂

Our fundraising campaign in the Philippines
We collected donations in a small circle and actually got an incredible 600 dollars. From this we were able to put together food for over 100 families (3 kg of rice per family, noodles, sauces, sugar, soap, etc).
#32 – Vietnam – last part
After many weeks the Vietnam contribution comes now. I had problems uploading photos and it took a long time. It is my last part.
After two weeks of being lazy in Hanoi and two months without sports, it started with 37 degrees in the shade on the bike. My direction, but not my destination, was Sapa, the northeast of Vietnam, right on the Chinese border.
But in Hanoi I also had to organize some things, so that I didn’t just lie around lazily.
Shortly before leaving the city, I saw a stand. In the offer there were five spit-roasted dogs. For me no shock, who can eat pig, can also eat dog.
The taste should be strict.
During my first visit to Vietnam a few weeks ago, I drove in a sleeping bus. The couches are for very narrow and small people.

#31 – Philippines (impressions, plans)
I left Pandan with a heavy heart, I wanted to or had to go on. The next destination was Caramoran. There is the Toytoy Beach. It was about 6 km, so I tried to walk.
After many goodbyes I was almost out of town, then a man on a scooter next to me stopped and asked where I wanted to go. I’m always sceptical about something like this, because suddenly a high sum is demanded (for this short distance up to 200 pesos, about 3,50 Euro). But he just wanted to take me with him out of kindness. I climbed up and was quite fast at a beach surrounded by banana trees and coconut palms. I took out my hammock and just let myself hang. Swimming and talking to about 15 children or teenagers. It was just great!
On the far left my hammock, I made it! My fantasy pictures became true!

#30 – Philippines (Cataduanes)
At the border I caught a minibus to Huế. My bike was packed on the roof.
It went downhill, but what great views. It went down like a serpentine and I was locked in the bus.
Villages, mountains and breathtaking views.
I also noticed that the garbage was just thrown out of the bus. The same at the bus station in Huế. The garbage is thrown out of the bus.
Via Huế the sleeping bus took me 12 hours to Hanoi, where I spent just over two weeks. The search for a hub, information about visas and being among people was quite cool.

#29 – Laos (Paksong, Sekong, Salavan)
After two weeks of doing nothing physically, the first day went directly 1200 m high. Past waterfalls and jungle-like forests. It was beautiful. But hard.
Coffee is also grown in Laos and most of it is exported to Vietnam. There it is exported as Vietnamese coffee. I did not take photos of plantations

#28 – Laos (monastery, Pakse again)
As already mentioned, no Russia visa received.
So my hope is still to extend the visa in Laos or Vietnam at a reasonable price. Then again to the embassy, because I have to have a valid visa for at least 90 days in a third country. Nevertheless, I don’t enjoy Russia and its bureaucracy anymore. Such a beautiful country and they make such problems there. If nothing changes, I have to come up with a new plan for next year. So China and possibly Russia may not come into question. However, there is a short stretch between Kazakhstan and Mongolia through Russia. Read More
#27 – Laos (Don Det and new ideas)
Visa Arrival and the next country came with Laos.
Over asphalt, gravel roads and with the boat we went to Don Det, in the Si Phan Don – area, where I wanted to rest a few days.
By the way, the scene on the boat, the picture I have for a long time in my head. Now it came true, hm, scary.
#26 – Cambodia (Part 2)
After 11 days we left Rumi Camping. We still had 15 days visa and about 350 km to Laos. A lot of time. So we decided to hitchhike towards the sea. Bicycles and almost all luggage we left at Emre.
After 1 1/2 days and 6 cars we arrived in Sihanoukville in the afternoon. We stayed overnight in a temple or a school.
At the beach in Sihanoukville we slept another night and the next day we went for 12 dollars to the Hippie or party island Koh Rong (the smaller neighbour island Koh Rong Sanloem is the quieter one of the two, Natali wanted to sell Henna however).
On the way there, again and again fully loaded vehicles

#25 – Cambodia (Part 1)
Cambodia, it was obvious that it was poorer. Children came to me to get money.
Nevertheless I liked the country from the beginning. It was a bit chaotic because I didn’t know what a shop or camp was, but it was easy to find out. We slept outside the border town of Poi Pet, a few hundred meters from the border.

Internet we got directly, I Metfone, Natali with Smart. It cost me 6 dollars, no idea what volume. Read More
